Remembering Julie Reay

Dear HomeAid Partners & Friends,

It is with great sadness to inform you that our colleague Julie Reay, the executive director of HomeAid Inland Empire passed away on Christmas Eve due to complications from COVID-19.

This is a devastating loss for her family and the overall HomeAid family and we ask that you please keep her husband Chris and her three adult sons and their entire family in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult days.

I have known Julie for nearly 20 years and she was truly committed to HomeAid's mission and had a deep heart and compassion for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

We will be working with the HomeAid Inland Empire Executive Committee discussing immediate and long term needs as they make this difficult transition as we start the new year. We will keep you updated as we work through next steps moving forward as well we hear more from Julie's family as to any memorial service.

Please reach out to me personally if you have any questions or concerns and know that we value each and every one of you and appreciate your care and concern for Julie's family at this time.
