Our Impact

Community Engagement

In addition to our construction and housing projects, we engage with the community across all our Affiliates through a number of recurring initiatives and programs. These initiatives allow us to truly connect with the people we serve and make an impact in a different way.

HomeAid Works

The HomeAid Works program is a construction skills program intended to give people experiencing homelessness and at risk of homelessness opportunities for quality, meaningful work at a livable wage. HomeAid WORKS is made possible by a grant from the Lennar Foundation, the charitable arm of Lennar Corporation, provided as seed funding to create the new program.

HomeAid Cares

HomeAid Care Days are hands-on volunteer workdays in which minor repairs and upgrades are made at non-profit service provider locations. Tasks like painting, landscaping, cleaning, and small construction projects are done at no charge based on each organization’s needs. HomeAid has completed 400+ HomeAid Care Days, resulting in a savings of more than $300,000 to service providers.

HomeAid Fundraising

Rebuilding communities is something we can all do. Whether it is providing financial resources, providing in-kind services of time and materials or volunteering, we all work best as a team. We encourage community members and corporations alike to support HomeAid in our mission to ensure everyone has a safe place to call home.
