Building Hope in Texas: HomeAid at the Sunbelt Builders Show

At HomeAid America, we know that building better lives for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness starts with the power of community, especially the building community. That’s why attending industry trade shows like the Sunbelt Builders Show in Grapevine, TX is more than just networking; it's an opportunity to strengthen partnerships, spark new ideas, and amplify our mission.

This year’s Sunbelt Builders Show was a vibrant gathering of industry leaders, suppliers, and innovators—and it was our pleasure to be part of it, representing HomeAid America and our newest affiliate, HomeAid North Texas with Executive Director, Scott Sheppard.

The energy at the show was contagious. From powerful conversations to exciting opportunities for collaboration, it was clear that the home building industry is deeply committed to giving back. We were thrilled to reconnect with some of our valued national partners, including:

  • 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty

  • MSI

  • Sherwin Williams

  • Burgess Construction Consultants

A special thank-you goes out to 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty for their generous support in sharing booth space with HomeAid North Texas. Together, we proudly displayed the banner for the HomeAid North Texas Builders for Babies Diaper Drive, a crucial initiative that raises awareness and support for families in need. Mark your calendars, the drive kicks off on August 19th.

The momentum we felt at Sunbelt reminds us why HomeAid exists: to bring together builders, suppliers, and community partners to make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing housing insecurity. Trade shows like Sunbelt aren’t just about products and trends, they’re about people, purpose, and building hope from the ground up.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared their enthusiasm, and committed to helping us build a future without homelessness.
