Impact of Hurricane Harvey on Houston

Houston and the surrounding areas are coping with the after-effects of Hurricane Harvey.  This reminds us of how vulnerable parts of our population are and how they need our help. Houston’s homeless population grew by tens of thousands overnight, and it will take a long time to build the way back. As Harvey was storming through Texas, HomeAid Houston immediately began surveying all of the agencies it has served in the past 14 years, to determine if there were any repair needs.  The result was their "Roofs Over Houston's Homeless" initiative (see flier below) that is now underway.

In an effort to continue supporting those of you affected by Hurricane Harvey, we also want to provide the following information regarding resources available as we begin the recovery process.  Please also feel free to share this with anyone you know who may need assistance.
