The mission of the Home Builders Care Foundation (HBCF), a chapter of HomeAid America,  is to give back by utilizing the skills and resources of building industry members on shelter-related construction for the homeless and others at-risk. Home Builders Care Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides cost-effective solutions to other non-profits with shelter-related construction needs.

With each project, we invest in our non-profit partners’ program efforts via our in-kind contributions of construction services and they in turn invest in the continuation and expansion of social services and programs to help keep vulnerable populations safely housed while improving their quality of life.
Our efforts help community non-profits and local governments meet the challenges of caring for our neighbors in need.

Since our inception, HBCF has made significant in-kind contributions of more than $20,000,000 worth of materials and labor to projects assisting the homeless and others at risk in the communities we serve. The total value of our projects is estimated to be more than double that amount.

You can help build new lives for Washington DC's families and individuals experiencing homelessness. Get involved today!
