HomeAid's Response to Southern California Wildfires

From HomeAid employees to our board members to other friends of our family, the recent wildfires that have plagued Southern California and displaced hundreds of thousands of local residents have affected us all. Our collective hearts go out to those families and individuals who have lost their homes or loved ones during this tragedy.

With four HomeAid chapters located in the affected areas, our organization's response will occur at a local level. Typically, our chapters work with local homeless service providers to build housing for their community's homeless families and individuals. In this case, our four Southern California chapters will support those service providers that are on the "front lines" of serving the homeless and their programs to offer immediate assistance to those displaced by the wildfires.

OperationOC is Orange County's collaborative private/public partnership that has been re-activated to meet the needs of the evacuees of the fires ravaging Southern California. Led by the Orange County Rescue Mission, OperationOC's non-profit partners include Volunteer Center of Orange County, HomeAid Orange County, and Olive Crest.
