CB Richard Ellis to Partner with HomeAid to Improve Housing for Homeless in Atlanta

Company Hosts Second-annual "Get Out and Give Back" BuildMonth

Atlanta, Georgia - September 6, 2011 - CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. (CBRE) has announced that it will join HomeAid to facilitate the provision of housing for the homeless in Atlanta during its second-annual "Get Out and Give Back" BuildMonth through CBRE Cares, the company's national corporate philanthropy program. Nearly 20 CBRE offices nationwide will participate in rebuilding projects during this month of giving back, which will benefit local communities in partnership with HomeAid and Rebuilding Together-CBRE Shelter Program charitable partners-as well as Habitat for Humanity.

On September 23, 2011, 45 CBRE Atlanta volunteers will partner with the local HomeAid chapter to assist HomeStretch in providing needed repair and renovation services. The project will include landscaping refurbishment, minor home repairs and general clean up maintenance.

This is one of several U.S. projects that will be spearheaded by CBRE offices in California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Washington during the company's "Get Out and Give Back" BuildMonth effort. CBRE will provide employees with paid time off for their participation in the BuildMonth projects.

"Following the success of the inaugural BuildMonth last year, we look forward to partnering with HomeAid on this important project. By aligning our charitable endeavors with our business, the Shelter Program affords CBRE professionals the unique opportunity to use their passion and leadership skills to provide real solutions for individuals in need in their communities," said John Ferguson, Executive Managing Director, Southeast.

"HomeAid Atlanta is delighted to have the help of volunteers from the Atlanta office of CBRE to enhance the facilities of HomeStretch, a nonprofit organization serving temporarily homeless families in our community. CBRE's assistance at this critical time will enable us to provide HomeStretch with vital support, helping to ensure that their clients have a pleasant and comfortable place to call home while they work to get back on their feet and rebuild their lives," said Haley Livingston, Program Manager for HomeAid Atlanta.

In September 2010, more than 1,000 CBRE professionals across the U.S. joined HomeAid, Rebuilding Together and Habitat for Humanity to complete rebuilding projects in their communities as part of CBRE's first-annual BuildMonth. The nationwide effort marked the official launch of CBRE's Shelter Program, which focuses on providing shelter and housing to those in need. The Shelter Program is designed to improve the housing options for low-income communities across the country. To find out more about the partnership, visit www.cbre.com/cbrecares.

CBRE Cares is governed and executed by the CB Richard Ellis Foundation, an independent, non-profit, public-benefit corporation that funds CBRE's philanthropic initiatives.
