Environmental Stoneworks Partners with HomeAid

Environmental Stoneworks, the only national manufacturer and installer of stone veneer, announced a new national partnership with HomeAid for 2010. The company has truly taken social responsibility to heart, and is dedicated to giving back. The three-fold partnership includes a cash donation component, shelter project assistance and employee volunteerism. The partnership benefits each of HomeAid's active chapters nationwide, including the chapter here in Atlanta.

Regarding the partnership with HomeAid, Eric Aitken, national sales manager for Environmental Stoneworks, said, "We look forward to a positive relationship in 2010 and beyond, driven by Environmental Stoneworks' desire to give back to an industry that has provided so much to our growth and operational strength. HomeAid is our chosen avenue, as we believe in their mission to facilitate and offer opportunities for individuals and families to transition from life's hardships and homelessness."

Through the partnership, Environmental Stoneworks has pledged to donate material to any HomeAid project in 2010. The company and its employees have also stated a commitment to become actively involved in local HomeAid activities, including project assistance, volunteering time and resources, and conducting independent charitable work on behalf of HomeAid. In addition, Environmental Stoneworks has generously pledged to contribute $50 to HomeAid for each housing unit that utilizes the company's installation and products (for new customers who are "HomeAid supporters"). The company will also donate $25 to HomeAid for each housing unit that utilizes the company's products.

Environmental Stoneworks' unique ability to tailor its products and services to the distinct architectural preferences within each region of the U.S. is at the heart of the company's success, as are its ongoing investments in design, manufacturing processes and leading customer service. The company's manufacturing process begins with hand-selected stones from quarries across the country, carefully chosen for their natural beauty and functionality. Lightweight aggregates, portland cement, iron oxide pigments and proprietary additives are just some of the materials that go into the company's state-of-the-art stone veneer molds to make the best quality products available. Ultimately, these materials form beautiful architecture inspired by nature. By utilizing natural materials in a lightweight concrete design, the company's products can adhere to a variety of substrates, indoors and outdoors, and will withstand the test of time in even the harshest environments. And, since the company controls the entire process, skipping the middlemen, it can execute more efficient and cost-effective solutions for its customers.

In the Atlanta area, Environmental Stoneworks offers both turnkey installation and material only sales (through distributors and direct to market). If you haven't had the pleasure of working with the company yet, please contact them for your next project that uses stone, and make sure to let them know you're a proud HomeAid supporter! Environmental Stoneworks can take care of all your stone needs, and by doing business with them, you'll also be supporting HomeAid's mission of building housing for homeless families and individuals in our community.

Thanks to devoted partners like Environmental Stoneworks, HomeAid can continue building hope and homes for today's homeless.
