HomeAid's 5K Run For Cover

HomeAid's Run For Cover is an annual fun 5K run/walk. It is a family oriented day that brings the community together to raise money and awareness for the cause of transitional homelessness. Registrants pay an entry fee and collect pledges before race day. Registrations are also accepted the day of the race.

The event begins with pre-race entertainment and a warm up followed by a 5K run/walk race, a kid's 100-yard dash, and an awards ceremony after the race. Awards are given to the male and female overall winners and the top male and female finishers in eight age categories. Along with a complimentary t-shirt given to each racer, there are gift bags given to the first 250 entrants in the race.
