Robin Arnett - Chapter Development Director

As the Chapter Development Director, Robin Arnett's primary function is to ensure open, supportive communication between chapters and the national office so that the organization achieves its goals. To do so, Robin helps local chapters define their needs, ensures the needs are understood by the national office, and ensures the needs are reflected in internal and external initiatives so the needs can be met, including the organization's strategy and annual goals. One of the key methods for doing this is supporting the chapters as they daily implement the housing development model, as well as identifying problems that are common to multiple chapters, and then seeking-out and sharing the "best practices" individual chapters have developed that address the problems.

Robin participates with chapters, the national office, local and national boards, and others to establish chapter success criteria and the elements required to achieve that success. In conjunction with chapters, this includes defining organizational goals with chapters, defining what chapters need from the national office in order to meet those goals and establishing quality control standards that ensure the organization's needs are met effectively and efficiently.

Keesal began her career in chapter development supporting five chapters, and then moved to chapter expansion where she was instrumental in HomeAid's growth of local chapters, especially on the East Coast. In 2007, she was responsible for bringing 4 new chapters into the HomeAid family. Keesal developed and nurtured alliances with building industry, government, and homeless organizations to promote the expansion of HomeAid across the country. With more than 14 years of experience working in the building industry, Keesal has been a driving force for the philanthropic interest of builders nationwide.

Prior to HomeAid, Keesal worked for PreList, a referral brokerage, where her client base consisted of builders, title companies, non-profit organizations, and mortgage bankers. In addition, Keesal was executive director of the Home Builders Association of Mid West Georgia, a non-profit trade organization representing the interests of the building industry in that area, and community affairs director of the Building Industry Association of Orange County, California.

Keesal received a bachelor's degree in pre-law from Chapman University in Orange, California.
