Donors

HomeAid is a national non-profit organization founded by the home building industry to make a difference by doing what the industry does best -- building homes. As a result, HomeAid is able to multiply every dollar that we receive two- to three-fold through the donation of building materials and the volunteer labor of professional builders.

HomeAid’s corporate donors, especially the building industry and building industry related companies, have been extremely generous to HomeAid and its efforts to build high-quality housing for the nation's temporarily homeless.

For the past 23 years, America's top builders and building industry related companies have made it possible for over $77 million in professional labor and materials to be donated to housing projects.

We have constructed more than 275 multi-unit homes totallying 1,762,000 square feet of space at a cost of approximately $175,000 million of which nearly 50% represents in-kind donations by builders and their trades and suppliers.  We currently have 30 projects in development. In terms of the numbers of people whose lives have been transformed by HomeAid, more than 140,000 men, women, and children.
