Stephanie, Chicago, IL


Stephanie, and her two daughters and son, had been subjected to dreadful violence from their abuser. They were prisoners in their own home.

Fortunately, Stephanie and her children found refuge at WINGS (Women In Need Growing Stronger), located in suburban Chicago, where they received counseling and the help they needed to become self-sufficient.

Stephanie earned her credentials as a certified nursing assistant, found a job, and has now moved her family into their own apartment. She returns to WINGS to tell other women that they too can make it. This type of support is what HomeAid does.
