Become a DonorWhen becoming a HomeAid donor, there are a few things to consider. First, does HomeAid’s mission to provide safe, dignified housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives align with your company’s philanthropic goals?Related to this question is whether your company/organization can devote the internal resources (e.g., cash, in-kind materials, time, etc.) to HomeAid in order to achieve your philanthropic goals. Another consideration is whether your product or service relates to building housing. If so, there are many opportunities to use your product or service to help promote your business in the building industry and help those people who are less fortunate. HomeAid offers the ability to establish relationships with local and national builders as well as the manufacturing, financial, and retail companies that are part of the building industry. Lastly, does your company wish to have a “hands-on” approach, such as serving on the national board, a chapter board(s) or committee, attending events, etc.? If so, the HomeAid Development Department can discuss a program with you that will help your company achieve its philanthropic and business goals.
